Ertvelde plant
At our Ertvelde plant we convert animal fats and vegetable oils into base oleochemicals. The Ertvelde plant started up in 1957. By well-contemplated investments over the years, our Ertvelde plant grew to what it is right now: a modern, computer controlled efficient company which employs 250 people.
The Ertvelde site is ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified. The glycerine distillation unit, with a capacity of 35.000 tons, one of the biggest in Europe, is a kosher plant. This unit is as well HACCP (Hazards Analysis Critical Control Points) certified for food applications and GMP+ certified for feed applications.
Product lines in Ertvelde are fatty acids, glycerine and biodiesel. With the investment program underway, the Ertvelde plant will become the largest oleochemical plant in Europe.
