Poly Unsaturated Fatty Acids (PUFA)
Poly unsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) are derived from various vegetable oils like soya, sunflower and linseed oil. PUFA’s are mainly used in the production of alkyd resin binder systems but also find its application in detergents. Oleon offers with the product ranges Nouracid® and Radiacid® a wide portfolio of PUFA’s. Different fatty acid spectrums allow to steer final product properties like film forming, drying, yellowing and viscosity.
