Reach
REACH, the new EU Chemicals Management legislation, has entered into force on 1 June 2007.
The communication through the supply chain is a substantial part of the new European REACH Chemicals Management legislation. To that purpose Oleon intends to use a new REACH mailbox info.reach@oleon.com for all REACH related communication through the supply chain including internal, external, upstream and downstream communication. The main goal of the REACH mailbox is to channel the communication related to the particular topic of REACH. The information requests will be treated in due time by the Oleon REACH team.
Objectives of REACH
The Community chemicals policy aims at avoiding chemical contamination of air, water, soil and the human environment in order to preserve biodiversity and to safeguard workers' and citizens' health and safety.
