Charity organizations who fight against poverty often get more access to food than to personal and homecare care products. As both Oleon and our customer Christeyns, an international producer of soaps, believe that personal hygiene is a basic human right, we worked together to produce and distribute soaps and laundry detergent to three charity organizations in Belgium. Christeyns produced the soaps with raw material from Oleon. Each organizations received 400 bottles of hand-& body wash and 200 bottles of laundry detergent.                                       

The University of Malaya (UM) and Oleon signed a memorandum of agreement (MoA) on the 7th of April 2017. This agreement confirms that both parties will join each other in research in order to develop a new generation of environmentally friendly additives for lubricants.

The project will take two years and will build on Oleon’s expertise in lubricant additives. The Nanotechnology and Catalyst Research Centre (Nanocat) of the University of Malaya will formulate and validate the effectiveness of the additives.

Exactly a year ago, Oleon collaborated with Epic Homes for its first homebuilding project. EPIC which stands for “Extraordinary People Impacting Community” is an initiative by a non-profit social organisation to bring changes in improving the lives of local natives (Orang Asli) in Malaysia. This July, Oleon once again sponsored and built another home for a local native family in Serendah, Selangor, Malaysia.

A new band for Oleon Health & Beauty
In April we launched a new brand in our health & beauty portfolio, a new range of solutions for our customers: JOLEE. This sister of our RADIA esters is the top brand of Oleon Health & Beauty confirming our commitment to develop partnerships with our customers. Not only do the JOLEE molecules offer the same qualities as our RADIA brand, they also bring extra added value:

Oleon is proud to launch its restyled Corporate Identity and logo.
We’ve created a new look & feel that are a natural consequence of the evolution Oleon is going through.
This natural evolution is now translated into our Corporate Identity and logo.
This restyling will be implemented throughout our organization in the course of 2016.

 

Oleon, bringing the NEW in Happy New Year!

In 2009, Oleon was integrated in the French Sofiprotéol Group, a strong financial and industrial organization in the vegetable oils and proteins sector with activities in food, feed, biofuels and oleochemistry.

The group is now introducing a new governance model and a new organisational structure, in order to bolster its long-term independence. By changing it’s legal and financial structure, a clearer distinction is made between the industrial activities and the activities of the Avril Group’s financing and development company.

After 6 years of close collaboration, Oleon and Novance are now moving one step further in their integration: late last year Novance SAS became an affiliate of Oleon nv, and since the beginning of this year it changed its name into Oleon SAS. This move will further enable a smooth cooperation and strengthen our position.

We welcome all personnel from the new Oleon SAS into our Group!
