Global Key Account Manager Food
  • As global key account manager, you are responsible for maintaining and further developing your international clientele. You are in charge of a number of global and European accounts within the food industry.
  • In collaboration with the Business Manager, you will develop a commercial strategy for your client portfolio and region. This involves some limited P&L responsibility as well.
  • You are committed to building long-term relationships with your various clients. You assist them in their search for new products or applications tailored to their needs. Your ability to empathise on a technical level is crucial in this regard.
  • You identify opportunities in the market you are responding to in a targeted way, for both existing and new clients. You report feedback of your findings to the R&D department, allowing them to base new developments on market needs. In addition, you will be the functional lead for local sales teams, ensuring their accurate implementation of your commercial strategy in the various countries.
  • You report to the Business Manager Life Sciences.
  • You ideally have a master’s degree and a minimum of 7 years of experience in the food industry.
  • You have commercial experience and are no stranger to managing a number of international key accounts.
  • You display an entrepreneurial attitude, a solid dose of ambition, a dynamic approach, as well as excellent commercial and communication skills.
  • You have a strong command of the Dutch, English and French language. Knowledge of additional languages is an asset.
  • You are willing to travel an average of 30% of the time (primarily shorter trips)
