The Radia® rubber grade fatty acids are ideal for use in the tire and SBR industries. As a soap, the grades increase the vulcanization speed.
Vulcanisation is a crosslinking process in which individual molecules of a polymer are converted into a 3- dimensional network of interconnected polymer chains through a chemical crosslink. After vulcanization the SBR rubber is cross-linked, resulting in a polymer with high resilience, abrasion resistance, flex-fatigue, high elasticity and low swelling.
Depending on the different end qualities and the different processes at our customers, Oleon has developed different qualities.
