Oleon and AI Green Bytes Announce Groundbreaking Collaboration for Immersion-Cooled AI Servers

Paris, France – April 10, 2025 – Oleon, a global leader in sustainable oleochemicals and immersion cooling solutions, and AI Green Bytes, a pioneer in energy-efficient GPU data centers, are proud to announce a strategic collaboration to establish AI Green Bytes’ first immersion-cooled server facility in Paris, France. This cutting-edge project will utilize Oleon’s innovative Qloe™ plant-based cooling liquid to power a new generation of sustainable, high-performance computing tailored for the demands of the AI revolution.
This collaboration represents a pivotal moment for both companies as they unite to tackle the pressing need for eco-friendly and efficient data center solutions. AI Green Bytes’ vision of creating sustainable, state-of-the-art GPU centers aligns perfectly with Oleon’s expertise in delivering biodegradable, non-toxic, and high-performance immersion cooling liquids. The Paris facility will showcase the transformative power of immersion cooling technology, submerging servers in Oleon’s Qloe™ liquid to achieve dramatic reductions in energy use and eliminate reliance on traditional air-cooling systems.
“We are excited to partner with AI Green Bytes to bring our Qloe™ immersion cooling technology to Paris,” said Maarten Trautmann, Immersion Cooling Program Lead at Oleon. “This collaboration highlights the scalability and efficiency of our plant-based cooling solutions and underscores our shared commitment to reducing the environmental footprint of digital infrastructure while supporting the growing needs of AI-driven computing.”
The Paris facility will serve as AI Green Bytes’ first immersion-cooled data center, with each immersion tank capable of cooling up to 361 kW—far exceeding the 30-40 kW capacity of conventional air-cooled systems. By leveraging Oleon’s Qloe™ liquid, the servers will achieve up to 90% reduction in cooling power consumption, zero CO2 emissions, and zero water waste, establishing a new benchmark for sustainability in the industry. This high-density design will also optimize space efficiency, enabling AI Green Bytes to deliver exceptional performance for advanced AI workloads.
AI Green Bytes provides GPU as a Service, offering clients access to cutting-edge GPUs from both NVIDIA and AMD. This flexible, scalable service model empowers businesses to harness the computational power needed for AI, machine learning, and other high-performance applications without the burden of managing physical infrastructure.
“Partnering with Oleon allows us to take a significant step forward in our mission to revolutionize data center sustainability,” said Stig Torvund, Chairman and CEO of AI Green Bytes. “The deployment of immersion-cooled servers in Paris using Oleon’s Qloe™ liquid positions us at the forefront of the AI revolution, delivering unmatched energy efficiency and computational power to our clients while minimizing our ecological footprint.”
The Paris project is slated to commence operations in June 2025, with both companies dedicated to continuous innovation and collaboration. This initiative not only positions Paris as a hub for technological progress but also sets a precedent for sustainable data center deployments globally.
