Oleon is dedicated to advancing sustainability within the palm sector, firmly committed to responsible sourcing and transparent supply chain practices. Oleon’s sustainable sourcing practices are fully aligned with the Avril Sustainable palm and soy sourcing policy. This policy emphasizes responsible procurement, transparency, and continuous improvement. Through this alignment, Oleon drives positive change, not only within its own supply chain but also across the broader industry 

ASD Engagement: Oleon's dual role as member and supplier 

Oleon proudly participates in Action for Sustainable Derivatives (ASD) both as a member and a supplier. This dual engagement strengthens our collaboration with industry peers and supports ASD’s mission to promote responsible sourcing and supply chain transparency. By working closely with ASD, Oleon helps address supply chain grievances and foster joint solutions that empower stakeholders and communities. 

 

Traceability and supply chain mapping 

Traceability is a cornerstone of Oleon's sustainable palm sourcing strategy. Our team actively provides detailed traceability information to ASD, ensuring that every link in the supply chain is mapped and monitored. This proactive approach enables Oleon and ASD to identify and resolve potential supply chain issues swiftly, reinforcing our commitment to ethical sourcing and transparency. 

 

Commitment to an NDPE compliant palm supply chain 

Oleon’s dedication to high standards is reflected in our outstanding results in the ASD Sustainable Palm Index survey. For the past two years, Oleon has maintained an A rating, demonstrating exemplary performance in sustainable sourcing, supply chain management, and NDPE (No Deforestation, no Peat, no Exploitation) commitment. NDPE principles are vital for protecting forest ecosystems, maintaining peatland integrity, and ensuring that human rights are respected throughout the palm supply chain. 

 

Oleon remains steadfast in its pursuit of sustainable palm sourcing, leveraging partnerships with ASD and alignment with the Avril policy to deliver responsible, transparent solutions. We will continue to support stakeholders and communities by promoting ethical practices and advancing sustainability across the global palm sector.
